Chopard

Louis-Ulysse Chopard, a Swiss watchmaker whose watches gained a solid reputation among enthusiasts and found buyers as far afield as Eastern Europe, Russia and Scandinavia, founded Chopard in 1860. The company was passed down through the generations until 1963 when it was sold to Karl Scheufele whose own family consisted of jewelers and watchmakers. Today, Chopard is one of the most renowned Swiss watch brands on the market.

Under the Scheufele family’s guidance, Chopard has grown into a company offering jewelry, timepieces and partnerships with events such as the Cannes Film Festival. Their complete luxury collection includes sparkling jewelry, sports watches for men, complicated mechanical timepieces, ladies’ sports and dress watches and Haute Joaillerie creations.

The company is well known for their ‘Happy Diamonds’ collection that features mobile diamonds that float freely within a watch or pendant. Bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings are also available in the Happy Diamond collection.
